Greetings.
Welcome to my first ever blog.
With this blog I hope to accomplish something truly different and beneficial to people who are struggling to create a better life for themselves.
Normally you would read books on success from people paid to teach success principles or by (or about) people who are already successful and writing about how they got there. Bookstore shelves are filled with such books. The Secret, Unlimited Power, 7 Secrets of Highly Successful People, Think and Grow Rich, Etc., Etc. But DO THEY WORK?? And if they do, why isn't everyone currently living a life of abundance? Or you may be asking 'Why isn't is working for me??'
I'm doing, or at least hoping to do, the opposite. I am not successful. Let me clarify that blanket statement. I am not now living the life that one normally imagines when one envisions 'success'.
Of course I am successful in many areas of my life but overall, I still have many if not most of the same struggles that you dear reader are likely expereincing as well. We are in the same boat. We are equal. I am not 'gifted', 'lucky', 'entitled' or any such thing, at least, not any moreso than you are.
What my intention is to become 'successful' which I will define in detail later, right here, in front of your eyes. I want to prove, first and foremost to myself, but also to everyone else out there in the vast wilderness of the internet that becoming truly successful IS possible and accessible to ALL of us, irregardless of our cirumstances.
To accomplish this I will be blogging daily - as much as possible, I do have a life that will sometimes intervine - and report on: 1) Any new distinctions I have made, 2) What I am currently doing, 3) The results - good or bad.
I realize that assuming I succeed, the overwhelming majority of readers will be reading this only after I have become successful. If that applies to you then likely this will be a massive amount of reading but I will leave it intact so you can see the ups and downs and know that while it is possible, there are pitfalls and stumbling blocks and you can learn from both my mistakes and accomplishments.
However if anyone is out there now, from the beginning or along the journey, please DO make yourself known. View this as a group effort. By sharing thoughts, opinions and distinctions we can help out each other, other readers and ourselves. By following my exploits perhaps you can be encouraged to step up or out yourself, stay on track or learn from my mistakes and save yourselves the trouble of repeating them.
Now I expect I will be doing the bulk of writing from my work. While I work in the tourism industry and at this time of year have a considerable amount of downtime, it is still a little hit and miss. I may become too busy to finish a blog on some days so pardon me if it's left incomplete I will make every effort to finish any thoughts at a later date.
My first distinction that I wish to share and the very reason I'm doing this blog is the concept of 'Reap and ye shall sow'. Karma. By projecting my energy into something that can be of benefit and enrich the lives of others, I hope to benefit and enrich my own life. Hopefully my motives are sufficiently pure to allow karma to work. In future blogs I will expound about this and other 'secrets to success' in detail but this blog is becoming lengthy enough. If I fail and all the teachings of all the masters prove false then at least you dear reader can save yourself the trouble and expense of investing into their teachings. It would sadden me to think that would ever be the case but if it is then at least some good has come from this - you don't have to repeat my mistakes. However, we are not here to conceive of failure so let us proceed towards prosperity together.
